ARTWORK CARE

Enamel

Enamel is glass and may chip or crack when dropped or banged against a hard surface.  Please treat it with care.  To clean, rinse gently with warm water and dry with a lint-free cloth.

Copper and Bronze

The color and finish of copper and bronze will change with age and use.  Bright copper or bronze will gradually darken with exposure to air, like a well-used penny.  Dark copper or bronze will be burnished bright where it regularly comes into contact with skin or clothing (this is especially true for rings).  These changes are natural and add to the history and character of your jewelry.

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver may tarnish with exposure to air and skin.  To clean sterling silver use a polishing cloth or a silver cleaning product (read instructions carefully as some solutions may damage enamel).  If any cleaning product gets onto an enamel surface, rinse immediately with warm water and dry with a lint-free cloth.

Enamel Panels

Enamel is glass and may chip or crack when dropped or banged against a hard surface.  Please treat your enamel panel with care.  To clean your framed enamel panel, dust with a soft lint-free cloth.  The mat surrounding your enamel panel consists of natural organic fiber, and will therefore exhibit slight changes of color with exposure to light and air.  To limit the change to your mat do not hang or store your framed panel where it may be exposed to direct sunlight, UV light or excessive heat and humidity.

Prints

To Preserve the high quality color of your inkjet print do not hang or store it where it may be exposed to direct sunlight, UV light or excessive heat and humidity.
